GAF to build fish landing center in Hodeida
Head of the General Authority for Fisheries (GAF) in the Red Sea Hashem al-Dane’i laid on Monday a foundation stone for a fish landing center project in Hodeida province.
The project costs YR 33 million and funded by the Agriculture and Fisheries Production Promotion Fund (AFPPF) and will be erected in Ibn Abas area in al-Munira district.
Al-Dane’i said that the project aims to support the fish sector infrastructure, which is one of the promising sectors to strengthen the national economy.
He affirmed that the authority is keen to support fishermen through the establishment of fish landing centers and other infrastructure projects in the province.
