FM: Zionist aggression against civilian sites will not go unpunished

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the Zionist aggression against civilian sites in Yemen, affirming that this assault will not go unpunished.

In a statement , the Foreign Ministry emphasized that the Zionist aggression on civilian facilities constitutes a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity, as well as a breach of the United Nations Charter and international law.

The statement noted that the Zionist entity, by targeting civilian sites—including airports, ports, power plants, and factories—has flouted international law and disregarded all international norms, conventions, and regulations.

It further highlighted that attacking civilian infrastructure is an assault on the Yemeni people and their resources, reflecting the Zionist entity’s failure to achieve its objectives in Yemen and its desperate attempt to claim a hollow victory.

The statement pointed out that the Foreign Ministry had previously provided the UN Resident Coordinator and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) with a list of coordinates for civilian sites, including those targeted by the Zionist entity.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to condemn this brazen aggression and halt the Zionist rampage in Yemen, as well as the genocidal crimes in Gaza, which undermine regional and global security and stability.

It reaffirmed that the Zionist aggression will only strengthen Yemen’s steadfast support for Gaza and the resilient Palestinian people, using all available means until the aggression and siege imposed by the usurping Zionist entity are brought to an end.
