Shura Council Condemns Israeli Massacre on Rashid Street in Gaza Strip

Yemen’s Shura Council condemned the recent Israeli attack on Rashid Street in the Gaza Strip, where many were killed and wounded while waiting for food supplies.

In its statement, the Shura Council emphasized that this attack represents a clear violation of international humanitarian law, reflecting the brutality of the Zionist entity. It highlighted the disregard shown by Israel for international appeals, demands, and human rights treaties aimed at protecting civilians from such atrocities.

The statement expressed dismay at the lack of action from the global community in the face of ongoing violence against the Palestinian population. It condemned Israel’s actions, which it likened to those of a Nazi regime, aimed at exterminating the Palestinian people through violence, starvation, and deprivation of necessities.

The Council condemned the Arab, Islamic, and international stance for its weakness in the face of Zionist aggression, expressing dismay at the inability to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. At the same time, significant shipments of advanced weapons easily reach the occupying entity.

Israel waged a bloody war on the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7 following a historic operation by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group against the occupying entity.

The US has offered untrammeled support for Israel during the onslaught that has so far killed over 30,320 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

On Thursday, Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid near al-Nabulsi roundabout in Gaza City, killing at least 112 people and injuring hundreds of others.

The Israeli massacre of Palestinians by Israeli forces has been met with strong condemnation from different states and international organizations.
