Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Israeli War Crimes, Calls for Humanitarian Aid in Gaza Strip

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the recent escalation of violence by Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, including the tragic incident at the Nabulsi roundabout, where many were killed and wounded while waiting for food supplies.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the US directly responsible for the Zionist escalation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the escalation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, due to the unlimited support provided by Washington and its allies to the Zionist entity politically, materially, and militarily. This support includes obstructing the Security Council from carrying out its role in maintaining international peace and security.

The statement affirmed that Sana’a, in light of Zionist intransigence supported by the US and Britain, remains firm in its position to prevent ships owned by the Zionist entity or heading to the ports of occupied Palestine from arriving until military aggression is ended. Additionally, it emphasized the necessity of unhindered entry of humanitarian, food, medicine, and fuel aid into the Gaza Strip.

Israel waged a bloody war on the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7 following a historic operation by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group against the occupying entity.

The US has offered untrammeled support for Israel during the onslaught that has so far killed over 30,320 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

On Thursday, Israeli forces opened fire on Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid near al-Nabulsi roundabout in Gaza City, killing at least 112 people and injuring hundreds of others.

The Israeli massacre of Palestinians by Israeli forces has been met with strong condemnation from different states and international organizations.
