YRSPC Vice Chairman: After Aggression No Container Ships Arrived to Hodeidah Port

The port of Hodeidah used to receive 320 thousand containers between 2013 and 2014, before the US-Saudi aggression waged its war on Yemen, and currently since November 2017 no container ship has arrived, Engineer Yahya Sharaf Al-Din, Vice Chairman of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation said.

Eng. Sharaf al-Din told Almasirah on Monday, that the only containers that are currently entering the port of Hodeidah belong to the World Food Program, carrying oils and foods, and they are very few, with restricted powers from the coalition of aggression.

“The coalition of aggression currently allows the entry of only a few materials to the port of Hodeidah, which is subjected to obstruction, as is the case with oil derivatives,” he added.
