Light earthquake of 3.2 magnitude hits Syria

An earthquake measuring 3.2 on Richter shocked west of Raqqa city, according to the National Earthquake Center.

“The Syrian National Seismological Network (SNSN) recorded an earthquake at 22:20 local time, 7 km southwest of Raqqa city, 5 km deep,” The Center said in a statement.
