Ministry of Human Rights Condemns Saudi-mercenaries’ Kidnapping of Displaced Women in Marib
Ministry of Human Rights condemned on Monday the kidnapping of seven displaced women in Marib province by ٍSaudi-mercenaries.
In a statement, the Ministry considered the kidnapping of women an act of terrorism and a stigma on the face of the countries of the coalition of aggression and their mercenaries.
The statement pointed out that this behavior is inconsistent with all human values, tribal principles of the Yemeni people and international laws.
The Ministry held the Security and Human Rights Councils responsible for the terrorist and immoral acts that Yemeni women are exposed to in particular, and for the crimes and grave violations that the Yemeni people are exposed to by the countries of the aggression over a period of six years.
The Ministry also held Saudi Arabia and the UAE legally and criminally responsible for all crimes committed by the coalition of aggression and its mercenaries against Yemeni women.
The statement called on Yemeni woman activists, civil society organizations, the Federation of Yemeni Women, the various United Nations organizations and mechanisms and the international organizations working in Yemen to take a firm humanitarian stance to implement the rules and provisions of international law. It called for protection of Yemeni women and girls from the violations and crimes committed by the coalition against them.
