Human Rights’ Office of Hodeidah Condemns US-Saudi Crimes in Governorate

The Office of the Ministry of Human Rights in Hodeidah governorate condemned the crime that was committed by US-Saudi mercenaries which targeted civilians in Ad-Durayhimi district, directly, killing and injuring a number of civilians and destroying their houses.

 

The Office of the Ministry of Human Rights holds the international community and the United Nations and its silent organizations and bodies responsible for the crimes of the US-Saudi aggression in the villages of Hodeidah governorate.

 

The statement called the free human rights activists and media figures in all parts of the world to stand with the Yemeni People, deliver their grievances to the whole world and expose the countries of the US-Saudi aggression.

 

The Office of the Ministry of Human Rights stressed that targeting civilians is a serious violation of international humanitarian law. It  pointed out that targeting women and children is a war crime according to the 4th Geneva Convention, its 2nd Additional Protocol, the 3rd Common Article, and according to the Geneva System of International Criminal Courts.
