28 death cases of coronavirus registered in China

Chinese authorities on Saturday reported 28 death and 99 infected cases of coronavirus “Covid-19″ in the last 24 hours.

The State Health Commission has received data from 31 provinces, confirming that since the spread of the coronavirus in the country, 80,651 people have been infected with the virus,” the National Health Commission of China said in a statement.

Over 22,177 patients (amongst 5,489 in critical health), 3,070 people died of infection, and 55,404 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery.”

The Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also announced that South Korea had registered 174 new cases of coronavirus as of late Friday evening, bringing the total number of cases to 6,767.

The number of death cases has remained unchanged since late Friday evening at 44.

On Friday, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that nearly 100 people had died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

In the same context, The UAE and Israel announced a rise in confirmed infected cases.

As Costa Rican Health Minister Daniel Salas announced that the first confirmed case of the virus has been recorded.

New cases of the virus have been reported in Iran, Iraq, Russia, the United States of America and European countries.

The virus began to appear in the Chinese city of Wuhan at the end of December and then spread to dozens of countries around the world.

The World Health Organization had previously classified the “emerging coronavirus” as an epidemic and declared a “health emergency of an international dimension”.
