Statistics: 146 Citizens Killed, Injured in US-Saudi-Occupied Provinces

A report issued by the Information Center in the Department of Moral Guidance in Sana’a revealed that 220 crimes and armed violations were recorded in the occupied areas last July, which resulted in the death and injury of 146 citizens.

The center clarified that this figure relates to the victims who were reported through the media, while the actual number of victims is much higher.

According to the report, the crimes that were monitored varied between killing, kidnapping, torture to death, looting, assassinations, and armed clashes in cities and residential neighborhoods on an almost daily basis.

Here are the details:

Shabwa Governorate

The Shabwa governorate topped the list of governorates with the number of killing and Injuring, with about 38  citizens killed and wounded in 34 violations, including 14 attacks and armed clashes in cities and residential neighborhoods. And two explosive devices explosions, two kidnappings and murders, kidnapping and concealment, in addition to murders and revenge crimes resulting from the absence of justice.

Abyan Governorate

34 people were killed and wounded in 32 violations, including 12 armed clashes and attacks, the detonation of 5 explosive devices in different areas. Torturing two citizens to death, one of whom suffers from a mental illness, and the other belongs to Ibb governorate and was kidnapped while traveling on the road to Abyan, hidden and then tortured to death.

In addition, 4 murders were recorded, including the killing of a child, kidnapping and enforced disappearance, 3 arbitrary arrests, robbery and looting.

Aden Governorate

In Aden governorate, about 23 people were killed and injured in 51 violations, most notably 10 armed clashes between military forces of US-Saudi aggression, and two run-over operations committed by soldiers. In addition to the crime of kidnapping and murder, 3 crimes of kidnapping and enforced disappearance, the crime of rape.

Taiz Governorate

The occupied areas in Taiz governorate recorded the killing and wounding of 16 citizens, about 38 attempted murders, 13 deliberate bombings, 3 kidnappings, and a number of coercive looting crimes. In addition, 6 suicide cases were recorde.

The number of grave criminal violations in Taiz governorate amounted to about 79 crimes, in addition to dozens of other crimes.

Citizens in the West Coast districts also complained about levies, compulsory recruitment of residents, and the demolition of a number of shops.

Lahj Governorate

In Lahj governorate, 19 people were killed and wounded, as a result of 12 violations, including throwing a bomb at a women’s wedding, detonating two explosive devices, burning a house containing African immigrants, killing a woman by a sniper, and armed clashes.

Marib Governorate

Marib governorate recorded 9 violations that 14 citizens were killed and wounded.

The violations varied between attacks by mercenaries on tribal citizens, and acts of negligence and neglect, which happened with repeated fires inside a camp for the displaced, and a kidnapping.

Al-Dhalea Governorate

A murder was recorded in Al-Dhalea Governorate, an extrajudicial execution of an African immigrant, and two explosions targeted two cars of mercenary forces officials as part of the conflict between the mercenaries of aggression.

Shocking statistic in 3 months

The Information Center in the Department of Moral Guidance indicated that the lives of citizens in the occupied areas are now threatened by crimes of murder, looting, and severance, in light of the chaos created by the occupation in these areas.

The Center noted that the numbers collected during the months (May-June-July) of the victims of violations in the occupied territories reflect the extent of the collapse of security and social peace in these areas.

In May, 121 citizens were killed and wounded a result of the chaos. In June 157 citizens were killed and wounded, and during July 146 were killed and wounded, bringing the total of killing and injuring during 3 months to 424 citizens were killed and wounded, at a rate of 5 killing and injuring per day.

The center emphasized that these victims would not have fallen had it not been for the chaos that the occupation established in the areas under its control, its adoption of armed gangs and takfiri groups, and its management of the struggle for the continuation of the occupation.
