Medical team removes ten-kilogram tumor from woman’s abdomen at Al-Thawra Hospital in Hodeida
A medical team at Al-Thawra General Hospital in Hodeida Governorate successfully performed an surgical operation to remove a ten-kilogram tumor from the abdomen of a 30-year-old woman.
Chairman of the Al-Thawra General Hospital, Dr. Khaled Suhail, explained that the patient arrived at the women’s clinic suffering from abdominal distention and severe pain, and she was examined and found a tumor in the left ovary extending to the subliver and spleen.
Dr. Khaled Suhail stated that the patient’s condition is stable after her discharge from the operating department, and her condition is followed up and treatment is completed.
He praised the efforts of the medical team that performed the surgical operation, headed by the Senior Consultant of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Badria Bawazir, the assistant Dr. Anisa Al-Harazi, and the nursing and anesthesia staff.
