Winter weather continues to impact on Yemen

The National Center of Meteorology expected cold to very cold weather on Saturday in several provinces.

The center indicated in its weather bulletin that the weather of cold prevail over the provinces of Shabwa, Abyan, Lahj, Dhalea, Taiz, Raymah, Mahweet and Ibb.

It pointed to rains of varying intensity may fall on the Socotra archipelago and parts of the southeastern coasts, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, indicating that active to strong winds are likely to blow, with a speed ranging between 20-28 knots on the south of the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the Gulf of Aden.

The center called on citizens in cold provinces to take the necessary precautions from the cold weather.
