One killed, 18 others wounded in traffic accidents
About 19 people have been killed and injured in traffic accidents in the capital Sanaa and the other provinces under the control of the Supreme Political Council.
Statistics issued by the General Traffic Department confirmed the one person was killed and 18 others were wounded, as a result of 26 traffic various accidents.
The statistics indicated that accidents caused material losses of approximately 3,800,000 Yemeni riyals, attributing the causes of traffic accidents to excessive speed and negligence of drivers to check their cars.
The department called on motorists to drive carefully and to adhere to the traffic rules and regulations in the streets and roads to avoid themselves and others from the risk of accidents.
