FAO projects in water, environment fields discussed

Deputy Minister of Water and Environment Haneen al-Dreeb has discussed with FAO representative Hussein Jadin the FAO’s projects in the field of water and environment.

Al-Dreeb and Jadin touched on the FAO’s projects that require partnership with the Ministry of Water and Environment.

They focused on the Sana’a Basin project in its first and second phases, which includes rehabilitating raining water harvesting facilities.

They also discussed a method to distribute modern irrigation networks and provide technical support to farmers so as to enhance the agricultural and irrigation sector.
