Yemen, UNICEF discuss support health facilities in Marib

Capital Sana’a, Sana’a and Marib provinces health offices and Sana’a field office director at UNICEF discussed here on Tuesday UNICEF’s interventions for health facilities in liberated districts of Marib province.

At the meeting, the health office director in Marib, Mohammed al-Sha’ab, reviewed the health situation in Marib and the difficulties facing health facilities and centers.

Al-Sha’ab touched upon the office plan to play its role in alleviating the suffering of patients, pointing out the importance of UNICEF expanding its support to health centers, and applying health capacity-building.

While Sana’a field office director at UNICEF confirmed that UNICEF is ready to support the capacity building of workers and coordinators through the health offices in the capital and Sana’a as well as the possibility of expanding support for health facilities.
