In Sana’a, Joint Meeting Parties Meets International Crises Director, Demand a Stop to Aggression, Lift Siege

The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) met, on Monday, with the Executive Director of the International Crisis Group, Robert Malley, in the capital Sana’a to discuss the situation in Yemen in light of the continuation of the US-Saudi aggression and its brutal siege on the Yemen People. During the meeting, members of the JMP stressed the need for a political solution in Yemen to stop the aggression and the siege imposed on it.

The members pointed out that the National Front, which is facing the US-Saudi aggression, calls for peace, stressed the importance of the success of the Stockholm agreement in Hodeidah, supported the political solution and has the ability to do so. However, the other, the pro-aggression, party represented by Hadi and the so-called legitimate government is neither own its decision nor has the ability to move to Aden and resume its authority. It is said that Aden is a temporary capital but the reality is that the decision is in the hands of the Saudi, Emirati and the US.

The members handed out to the Executive Director of the International Crisis Group a copy of the National Vision in Arabic and in English, explaining that this vision contains a national project in which government agencies participated with parties, organizations, social personalities and academics to build the modern Yemeni state. The foreign agenda prepares the Yemeni land for invasion, occupation and violation of sovereignty.
