Special workshop for media professionals to raise awareness about electronic blackmail

-An awareness workshop was held in Sana’a for female media professionals to raise awareness about the phenomenon of electronic blackmail, organized today,Satuarday, by the National Committee for Women in cooperation with Women’s Protection Bloc.

The two-day workshop aims to provide 30 female media professionals from all media outlets with knowledge about electronic blackmail, its methods, goals, and its psychological effects.

Head of the National Committee for Women, Dr. Ghada Abu Talib explained that the aim of the workshop is to create awareness of the importance of using Internet and mobile phone technology to serve the protection and security of personal and public data, as well as reducing information penetration, and ways to secure computers and mobile phones.
