Several Palestinians injured during Zionist military raid near Nablus

Several Palestinians were early Wednesday injured by Israeli gunfire during an Israeli forces and settlers raid to the site of Joseph’s Tomb, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinian media reported.

Wafa News Agency quoted the head of the Palestinian Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Department in Nablus, Ahmad Jibril, as saying: “one Palestinian was shot with a live bullet in the back and taken to the hospital, while five others were hit with rubber bullets and were treated locally.”

He added that another Palestinian man was injured in the hand after a gas bomb hit him, while a woman was hit with sound bomb. Both casualties were taken to the hospital.

Jibril said that 80 Palestinians suffered from suffocation due to inhaling toxic gas fired at them by Israeli forces, noting that houses were evicted after Israeli soldiers targeted them with gas bombs.

He added that the Red Crescent crews were also attacked with gas bombs.

Seven Palestinians suffered from bruises due to falling as Israeli soldiers chased them, and were treated locally, he confirmed.

Jibril added that the two Palestinian pregnant women had to be taken to the Askar refugee camp to the hospital as well.
