Meteorology calls on citizens to take away from water ways

Varying rains will be continued in several provinces during the coming 24 hours, the National Center of Meteorology expected on Saturday.

The center said in its weather bulletin that the possibility of heavy rains would prevail over the provinces of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Bayda, Raymah, Mahweet, Hajjah, Saada, Dhamar, Sanaa and Amran.

It also expected sporadic rains on parts of the western and southern coasts and the interior areas, and hot weather in the desert and coastal areas, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35-40 degrees Celsius.

The center renewed its warning to citizens in areas where rain expected to be present in torrential ways and valleys due to rockslides and low horizontal visibility on roads as a result of rains.

It also warned citizens in the desert and coastal areas to take the necessary precautions from the hot weather.
