US extends troop deployment in Romania

Thousands of US military personnel will remain in southeastern Romania for another 9 months, The New York Times reported.

According to the paper, ” The Pentagon will keep several thousand American troops in southeast Romania for at least nine more months.”

The US Air Force base in Romania, is used as a training base for NATO forces in Eastern Europe.
