World Food Program Sends Spoiled Aid to Yemen

 World Food Program sent a ship carrying 250,000 bags of spoiled flour, on Thursday, the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs said. In a statement to Almasirah, the council said that it had informed the World Food Program that the shipment of spoiled flour did not conform to the approved standard specifications.

Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs informed the World Food Program absolute rejection of the shipment of spoiled flour, and demanded that the quantity be re-exported on the same ship.
On September, the General Department of Plant Protection in the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, in the port of Hodeidah, seized 5,493 tons of green and dry peas, belonging to the World Food Program, infected with warehouse pests.
