Abdulsalam: the gateway to peace is to stop the war and lift the siege of Yemen

Mohammed Abdulsalm, head of the National negotiating delegation said that that the real gateway to peace is to stop the war and lift the blockade on Yemen.

In an interview with Al-Alam TV on Saturday, Abdulsalam said that if Saudi Arabia declares an end to the war and an end to the blockade, Sanaa is ready to provide assurances to Oman to make a statement directly welcoming the move and announcing the cessation of any steps by its forces.

He affirmed  that Saudi Arabia can no longer stop the war alone, because the US has begun to put a great weight in the continuity of the war, for its strategic interests, whether at the level of escalation in the region, the sale of weapons or putting pressure on Saudi Arabia.
