Coalition detains displaced people inside al-Sweida camp in Marib

Saudi-led Coalition forces detained dozens of displaced families inside al-Sweida camp in Marib province.

Media activist Nawaf Hamad Nasser, from Marib province, said in a tweet on Tuesday, that coalition “military police” had detained all the displaced people inside the Sweida camp.

Nasser noted that the coalition forces are using displaced people in Marib as human shields, calling for the displaced to be left alone.

He added that Islah security forces in Marib has deployed more than 14 security points around the city.
al-Sweida camp located in the Almail area northwest of Marib. The camp houses more than 750 displaced families from various provinces.

This comes after security authorities in Marib blocked the exit of residents from residential neighborhoods on the outskirts of the city amid widespread-armed robberies of the citizens’ homes.
