UAE Reports 15 New Infections as Virus Cases Rise to 74

The UAE on Tuesday reported another surge in new Coronavirus cases with 15 infections taking the country’s total to 74.  According to state news agency WAM, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the new cases of Covid-19, adding that they are all being quarantined. 

The new infections involve people from Italy, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Britain, India, Germany, and others. It said the discovery was a result of “early and effective application of preventive and precautionary measures”. 
The ministry said that all cases are stable and receiving all the necessary healthcare. 

The ministry also announced the full recovery of a further five people, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 17. People with respiratory symptoms were also advised to avoid mixing in crowded places.
