Cold weather to continue to prevail over various provinces
The National Center for Meteorology is expected the cold weather to go on during the coming 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the weather of cold will be prevailed over the provinces of Sanaa, Bayda, Dhamar, Amran, Saada, Lahj, Shabwa, Dhalea and Hadramout.
It stated that active to strong winds, with a maximum speed of 30 knots, may blow over the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, while the maximum speed in the Socotra archipelago to reach 24 knots.
The center called on citizens in cold provinces to take the necessary precautions and wear appropriate winter clothes.
