Information Ministry condemns kidnapping of journalist Naziha Al-Junaid
The Ministry of Information of the National Salvation Government condemned on Saturday the kidnapping of journalist Naziha Nasser Al-Junaid by Saudi-led coalition militants in Marib city.
The ministry stated in a statement that this crime comes within the framework of the continuous crimes and violations committed by the coalition against the Yemeni people for more than seven years, including women and children, considering this crime a blatant violation of human rights and press freedom.
The statement pointed out that the journalist Al-Junaid has been kidnapped since the beginning of the year 2021, and she is still abducted up to this day, stressing that this crime is contrary to the customs and values of the Yemeni people.
The Ministry of Information called on activists, human rights defenders, Arab and international press organizations and unions concerned with protecting journalists to condemn this crime to pressure the coalition forces in Marib to release Al-Junaid and all the kidnapped women.
